Description
In the designers' view, an ideal residence should be tranquil, natural, simple, and private. The use of borrowed scenery enhances spatial layers, with curved openings resembling picture frames capturing the most vivid moments of life. Spaces intertwine here, and air and light flow freely. Under the stairs, an artistic concave mirror made of stainless steel is divided into fragments, reflecting images while also creating a sense of illusion, metaphorically suggesting the infinite possibilities in life.
To alter the original Chinese-style pitched roof, the designers reprocessed the original structure, exposing the interior through cutting, thereby enhancing the structural interest and playfulness of the space. The master bedroom retained the pitched roof structure, using a simple frame bed to continue the Eastern aesthetic while providing a sense of enclosure. Against a pure backdrop, some elements were simplified, creating an ethereal state that accommodates all thoughts. The children's room, beyond purity, added more lively and interesting colors, summoning children to explore and dream in this primitive and dreamy place called the sea, with a vibrant and bold attitude.
