Description
The open-concept architecture dissolves spatial barriers, creating fluid connectivity between business and leisure through intentional transparency. This project preserves the cultural ethos and aesthetics of the Song Dynasty through immersive interactive experiences. Taking the lifestyle of the literati depicted in "Night Revels of Han Xizai" as a reference, we’ve integrated elements such as sofas under metal mesh lamps, golden carved lounge chairs, bamboo-patterned silk-glass screens and comfortable furnishings, blending contemporary furnishings with nostalgic elegance. In adherence to sustainability principles, the designers prioritized locally sourced materials throughout the project. Nearby quarries provided travertine and stone, which were strategically incorporated as decorative backdrops through natural stone blocks and slabs. These materials offered practical advantages: simplified installation, cost-effectiveness, and environmental friendly. Additionally, utilizing regional resources drastically reduces transportation costs and energy consumption associated with material logistics.
