NEW LAND is a beef and beer factory-cum-restaurant located in an old factory building within the Zhonghe 526 Industrial Park on Shiquan Street in Suzhou. When we first started focusing on beef, we never expected to open such a large restaurant. However, we were drawn to the interior of this building, so we redefined and calculated our operating costs. The original facade of the building was white, but considering the overall style and budget, we opted to cover it with red bricks. It is obscured by another building, and only as you approach it closely can you see its full view. The dynamic flames stir the emotions of the diners. The advertising area set up with scaffolding allows for flexible theming, providing ample room for future operators. In a space 10 meters high, we preserved the originality of the space, with exposed concrete. The giant installation we set up in the space can be understood as a bull skeleton, which runs through the sandpit area. In the space, we gaze at it from different angles.
