Description
‘Flow’ is a bespoke tableware collection designed for an art restaurant. The constant flow of food and drinks is translated to dynamic forms, in which people can savor exceptional cuisine guided by the mood of ‘Art de la Table’. Utilitarian pieces are treated as design objects with their own identity, creating special and distinct dinner table decoration with their notable flowing features.
Acting as framework for the display of food, playful shapes of plates and cutlery accentuate interaction with users while creating a memorable experience for them. Translating functionality into visual vocabulary, pieces are shaped by hand gestures in the dinner table. Embracing form and function, a reduced formal language communicates simplicity and elegance through flowing shapes facilitating synergy between art and design.
