Description
The Sunner Museum's design centers on "Recreating Mountain Scenery." Its three curved roofs mirror Wuyi Mountains' shape, with 45° slopes forming green terraces and public spaces. The folded concrete facade mimics local retaining walls, using light-filtering slits to blend function with nature. Four 25m-diameter shear walls support exhibition halls, creating a 30m column-free atrium with soft north skylights. For Fujian's climate, earth-covered roofs, north glazing and hidden mechanical layers reduce energy use. By day it showcases agricultural tech; by night becomes a community space. Rooftop paths merge with the landscape, making it an eco-cultural landmark. Built with local materials, it shows how industry can coexist with nature while sharing tech stories and boosting community life, reflecting China's sustainable farming future.
