Description
After 12 years of development, Shanghai Xuhui Vanke Plaza embodies the "Midtown Forest" concept, integrating three phases into a 720,000-sqm complex. Adjacent to Shanghai South Railway Station hub, the project employs a POD model to heal urban fragmentation through "Efficient Connection" strategies. A 3D pedestrian network interconnects commercial spaces, offices, and the Green Axis Park, while "Natural Symbiosis" tactics implement layered ecological zones and mixed woodland planting for low-maintenance, sustainable landscapes. Emphasizing "human-centric public spaces for enduring resilience," the design combats extreme climate challenges through daily-use oriented planning to reshape sustainable urban fabric.
