Description
This work is a lampshade design inspired by the inflorescence structures found in nature. By combining the mathematical polar coordinate function r = cos(kθ) with traditional bamboo weaving techniques, I explored the intrinsic relationship between natural forms and geometric logic.
The repeated linear combinations simulate floral mathematical patterns, and by controlling the weaving units and intersections, I generated a variety of functional diagrams that eventually formed a spatially expressive 3D structure. This project is not only a structural experiment, but also an exploration of the harmony between natural order and mathematical aesthetics.
