Description
The project is located in a small village called Patones de Arriba on the outskirts of Madrid, Spain. It uses local style materials to create a series of private spaces and public open spaces. Climate and nature are emphasized as an important part of the architecture in this project, and the connection and interaction between people and nature are focused on. The green space at the back of the building site creates a natural landscape for people. The residential area consists of three independent residential buildings, and the wintergarden assembled with wood is used as a viewing platform and public space to connect people and natural elements. The large windows and movable panels of the building bring more ingenious changes and balance to the internal climate conditions. The glass house in the garden at the front of the site showcases the vitality behind the original structure through its transparency.
