Koldo Gil is the Founder and Creative Director of Koldo&Co, an acclaimed multidisciplinary design practice operating at the intersection of architecture, interior design, and bespoke furniture manufacturing.
Koldo began his career at the international architectural firm Skidmore, Owings and Merrill LLP (SOM). During his tenure, he played an integral role in high-profile commercial developments and master planning, most notably contributing to the landmark design of the Morgan Stanley headquarters at Canary Wharf in London. This success led to a year-long deployment to SOM’s global head office in Chicago, Illinois, broadening his perspective on large-scale urban architecture.
Returning to Europe, Koldo joined Avci Architects as the Director of their London Office. Working internationally, he served as project architect overseeing diverse retail, commercial, and high-end residential development projects across the globe. Driven by a vision to blend uncompromised architectural discipline with emotional sensitivity, he founded his independent design practice, Koldo&Co, in the autumn of 2010.
Under his leadership, Koldo&Co has evolved into a dynamic premium brand known for delivering carefully curated residential and hospitality spaces throughout the United Kingdom and expanding internationally into European luxury markets like Ibiza and Verbier. Renowned for his meticulous attention to detail, material integrity, and timeless aesthetic, Koldo’s work focuses on crafting spaces defined by craftsmanship, functionality, and enduring design value.
