Niko Kapa is an award-winning Architect and Researcher, recognised as one of the most influential young architects in Middle East. With an interest in the pioneering research and investigation, he explores visual arts’ and architecture’s ability to communicate cultural content, examining how new fields can interface among traditions of craft with technology and how material effects can be tuned to human occupancy.
Studio Niko Kapa supports innovative architecture using research as an integral part of the design process, with a specific focus on sustainability as well as the cultural importance of built space. A significant volume of Studio’s work has been targeted to growing sense of awareness towards the built environment, while promoting sustainability through innovation, addressing urban planning, architecture and industrial design, with an effort to build links between theory and practice.
